Final Year Projects

The biggest challenges that my team face:
For the programmer side is understanding of codes as most of the codes aren't documented well.
For the art side is re-do most of the art asset as the card images and building texture doesn't fit well with the school premise and light mood.
It sometimes has crashes and the tutorial cannot be completed. Thankfully under the guidance of Weng Yew from the previous batch, we are able to understand the codes and fixed crashes so that it is polished enough to be published.
So the features that are completed in the game at programmer side who are Jian Wei and I:
-
Beautiful particle effect
-
Sound Effects
-
Game Balancing for monster's health against player's total level which are the heroes
-
Game Policy Website
-
Add of new AR Markers
-
Re-texture of the sprites
-
Reading of trivia list from a text file
-
Animation effect such as Screen crack and monster killed effect
-
Setting up QA Session
The features that I have solely created:
-
Building of APK from command lines and batch file
-
Communication between the client and server (I did not touch the server codes)
-
Reward Wheels with fully functional rewards
-
Achievement page with fully functional achievements and leaderboard to see the top 10 players
-
UI layout and logic
-
Incorporate the introductory story into the game. Story is written by Joseph, the 3D artist and story writer
-
Turn-Based Battle system
-
Item Inventory logic
This game will be published in both Google PlayStore and AppStore soon.
